Cathy was an attentive, accommodating host even weeks before our stay. As we were navigating through COVID-19 restrictions starting to lift, we were planning our stay in Almonte over the September long weekend to attend a wedding. Cathy made her home available to us early on Saturday, providing light snacks and coffee and tea to allow us to check in and prepare for the wedding. I wish we could have benefited from the comfortable living room and beautiful backyard made available to us, but that will have to wait until our next visit. :) The room was spacious with an ensuite bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. Our breakfast was delicious! There was lots of choice and Cathy so kindly offered to package the remaining food up for us to have on our trip to Perth and then back to Ottawa. I would highly recommend this B&B to family and friends.

What a beautiful property, host and breakfast. I sat and watched so many different birds enjoying the many feeders and watering holes in the yard. Cathy made us the most amazing breakfast but the raspberry cobbler was to die for.
I will definitely stay the next time I'm in town visiting friends.

We stayed for one night and it was lovely. Cathy has a beautiful home and she is very welcoming and accommodating. We had the garden view room with ensuite and it was very comfy and quiet. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices and a great view out to the backyard. We would recommend this B&B to any family and friends.

Cathy is a remarkable hostess who thought of big and little details to make her place "our home" during our first-ever visit to Almonte. The bed was comfortable, loved our ensuite bathroom, breakfast was generous with a choice of numerous items on her printed menu, the upper floor seemed "all to ourselves" as Cathy's living space was downstairs. We even did some stargazing in her spacious backyard with firepit and hammocks. What makes this B&B really welcoming is Cathy's friendly, down-to-earth personality. Would return in a heartbeat.
